Stuart Gray was pleased with the three points against Luton Town on Saturday, and admitted that points and not performance are all that matter at this stage of the season.

"We didn't get the ball down and play," he reflected. "Luton had us on the back foot and Mark Bunn deserved his man of the match award.

"In the first half we played the ball into Bayo's feet and got movement off him higher up the pitch, but in the second half we couldn't get out and came under pressure. You have to adapt to the conditions and in the second half I felt we took too many touches and didn't move the ball as quickly as we should but we hung on and a win is a win. I felt Mark Bunn deserved his clean sheet and it was a shame to concede late on.

"For our goals I didn't think there was any doubt about the penalty, Poul was clearly fouled with an arm pulling him down and he got up and converted the penalty well. All credit to Alex Dyer, he timed his run into the box well and met Daniel Jones cross to score.

"We have benefitted from the services of Mark Little for the last three months and we thank both Mark and Wolves for their help with the successful loan spell. I think he has enjoyed his time here and it has been good for him.

"It was good to get back to winning ways. It is all about results at this stage of the season and we have pulled closer to the top six. We have a difficult game next week but we go there with confidence and looking to build on this result."
