Friday Night Football Coaching
We provide football coaching for players with disabilities, for all ages ranging from 8 years to adult.
We hold training sessions on a Friday evening from 5.30pm till 7pm; the sessions are held at Northampton Academy School Lings.
We have 5 teams and they play regular games, some are just friendly matches while others are competitive tournaments against teams like Chelsea, Everton, Southampton, Brentford.
We are looking for new players to come along and join in. Neil Dowd is the Disability Football Officer at Northampton Town F.C and one of a team of coaches who help out on a Friday. Neil will be attending all of the special schools over the next few months to try and recruit more children to come along and participate in the coaching sessions.
