Andy Holt was pleased to score in last Friday's game against Huddersfield Town to silence his biggest critic - his wife!

"It is about time I scored," he smiled. "My wife has been giving me stick for not scoring enough goals. She was fed up of seeing everyone else score so it was good to get a goal in the last home match.

"It was a good long throw and David Hunt found me perfectly with his delivery. The goal came soon after Ian Taylor had gone off and it was a privilege to play in his last game.

"He has been a big influence here. He has been a top Premiership player who has been there and done it but he always available to help the lads out and to talk to the younger players. He has been a fantastic player at all of his clubs.

"We didn't really play the football we wanted to last Friday and we were disappointed to concede the equaliser but that's football and we move on to Doncaster now."
