Liam Dolman admitted he has had to bide his time but was happy to finally make his Football League debut at Doncaster on Saturday.

"I have had to be patient but I really enjoyed my debut and thought I did well," he said.

"Chris Doig got injured on Friday and that was my chance. My Mum and Dad and brother were at the game and hopefully they enjoyed my performance.

"This is my hometown club and I enjoy it here. The retained list is out on Tuesday and like a lot of the other lads I have to sit and wait and see. I am sure the club is on the up under Stuart Gray. He has helped me a lot as have Sammo and Jim Barron and I would love to stay here."
