The performance of Chris Dunn on Tuesday night showed that the Cobblers are forming a production line of goalkeepers, with Dunn developing well, following the example of fellow youth team product Mark Bunn.

"I was quite happy with my own personal performance against Wolves although there are obviously still a few things which I need to improve on," he said.

"I knew on Monday that I was going to be playing but I'm just really pleased that the Gaffer has shown faith and belief in me.

"As a young player getting any sort of first team experience is good and my time at Kettering on loan really helped me develop.

"I am always looking to improve on my different attributes and the more experience I get will help me do that.

"I don't think we deserved to concede three against Wolves, I thought we put in quite a good team performance but we needed to test their goalkeeper a bit more than we did.

"Mark Bunn is a good friend of mine and he has helped me with my game as well.

"You always look forward to local derbies and it should be a good game at Rushden on Saturday.

"On a personal note I just want to make sure that I keep working hard in training and doing well in reserve games so that if called upon for the first team I can come in and do well."
