Stuart Gray is hoping that the Cobblers can build on what he calls a 'satisfactory' first two games when they hit the road for the first time this season, and head for Brighton on Saturday.

"I've been fairly pleased with our first two games," said the Northampton Town manager.

"To get a clean sheet against Millwall was pleasing but I was slightly disappointed that we didn't get the three points we probably deserved against Swindon.

"It's been a decent start but we want to get that first league win under our belts as quickly as possible.

"We know that it is going to be difficult at Brighton, they have lost their first two games so they'll want to put on a show for their home fans and they will be buoyed by the news on their new stadium.

"I've got every confidence in our players and I know that if we put the effort and commitment in and maybe get that little bit of luck that you sometimes need then we can come away with a result.

"Brighton is a tough place to go to but the most important thing is that we go there with the right positive attitude and do a professional job."
