INJURY SPELLS END OF HAYES LOAN SPELL
The loan spell of Jonathan Hayes at Northampton Town has come to an end after the Leicester City winger picked up an ankle injury playing for the Cobblers reserves against Colchester United on Tuesday.
The injury has been diagnosed as ligament damage and as he will not be fit for either of the final two games of the season, he has returned to his parent club.
"It is a shame that Jonathan's injury has cut short his loan spell," said boss Stuart Gray.
"I would like to thank Jonathan for his effort and commitment and thank Leicester City for allowing us to borrow Jonathan. We wish him well for the future."
