2007/2008 REVIEW - FEBRUARY
The month began with a 1-1 draw at Swindon, Adebayo Akinfenwa heading home a late equaliser for the Cobblers after Blair Sturrock had given the Robins the lead.
The Cobblers then welcomed Leeds United to Sixfields for the very first time. Bradley Johnson started for Leeds who took the lead through Jonathan Howson on 38 minutes but Bayo was again the hero as he bundled home an equaliser 15 minutes from time.
Meanwhile, having turned in a number of impressive performances, defender Mark Little had his loan spell from Wolves extended into a second month.
For the second time this season Yeovil then stole all three points against the Cobblers, Terry Skiverton's winner coming deep into second half stoppage time.
The Cobblers however quickly bounced back from their frustration at Huish Park by crushing a hapless Gillingham side 4-0 at Sixfields. Bayo bagged a brace while Jason Crowe and Giles Coke also got in on the act.
Coke was then the hero six days later as the Cobblers recorded a 1-0 win up at Hartlepool, the midfielder coming off the bench to net the games only goal 8 minutes from time.
That result lifted the Cobblers upto 10th in the table and although most of the teams in and around them still had games in hand Stuart Gray's side were just three points behind sixth placed Walsall.
