CHAIRMAN HOPEFUL OF KEEPING KEY MEN
David Cardoza has said that the club are hoping to keep hold of all of their players this summer, and that should any player leave the club, it will have to be in the best interests of the club and player.
"We are still losing money but we are not in a position where we have to sell, it's just a question of whether we want to sell," he said.
"We had a number of bids from Nottingham Forest for Mark Bunn in January. They did reach a substantial level but we knocked them all back and I haven't heard anything from them since then.
"I wouldn't be surprised if they came back in for him, Mark is a terrific player but we've got a certain value on him which we won't be budging from.
"I'm not going to go into details but it would certainly break the club record transfer fee by a long way.
"We are not in the market to sell Mark and we still very much hope that he is here at the start of next season but if the right offer comes in then we will obviously talk to the player and his representatives.
"Jason Crowe had the opportunity to go to Plymouth in January but he didn't want to go and we didn't want him to go.
"I wouldn't be surprised if they come back in for him again and if something does come up we will obviously discuss it with Jason but like with Mark we are very much planning to have him here next season and we've actually even discussed the possibility of extending his contract.
"We are certainly not desperate sellers but if the right offer comes in for any of our players then we would obviously have to consider it."
