GRAY EXPECTING TOUGH GAME AT MILLWALL
The Cobblers have been handed an away tie at Millwall in the first round of the 2008/09 Carling Cup and Stuart Gray knows that his side will be in for a very tough game at the New Den.
"It's obviously a tough draw for us," said the Cobblers boss.
"Millwall is a difficult place to go to and we obviously haven't got very happy memories from the league game there last season.
"We arrived late for that game because of the horrendous traffic and because we hadn't been able to warm up properly we ended up picking up a number of injuries in the first half.
"Everything seemed to conspire against us that night but this tie does give us a chance to try and put things right.
"It'll be a tough game but we enjoyed the experience of our game up at Middlesbrough last season and we would love to get through to the second round and draw a Premier League side again.
"That game is a while off yet though and before that we now look forward to the league fixtures coming out on Monday.
"We've got some very exciting games to look forward to this season and it will be interesting to see what the fixtures computer has thrown up."
