CROWE A DOUBT BUT BAYO BOOST
Stuart Gray has been boosted by the news that Adebayo Akinfenwa has been given the all clear by the specialist to carry on playing - but defender Jason Crowe is an injury worry for Saturday's game at Tranmere Rovers.
"Bayo saw a specialist on Wednesday and he has given him the go-ahead to carry on as normal which is great news," said the Cobblers boss.
"Jason Crowe has got a bit of a sore foot which is quite swollen so we will have to make a late decision on him.
"Leon Constantine is border-line as is Colin Larkin who has still got a bit of a niggling thigh injury.
"It's all about getting the right balance and we just have to be careful because the last thing that I want is for Colin to be on the treatment table for six weeks.
"We don't want to take any risks and with the game against Brighton on Tuesday he might come into contention for that."
