SAMPSON ON RESERVE TEAM POINT
Ian Sampson has admitted that Chris Doig suffered a setback on his return from a hamstring injury when he had to leave the pitch after 38 minutes of the reserve team game against Grays.
"Chris Doig came off with a re-occurrence of his hamstring injury," he confirmed.
"We don't know the extent of that at the moment but hopefully we will know more in a couple of days when he has had it fully assessed by the physios and doctors.
"I think we passed the ball round really well in the first half and it was a great goal from Ian Henderson.
"Grays matched up their system to ours in the second half and although we still passed the ball round well in spells they got on top a bit.
"We tried to then change things round a bit but unfortunately nothing quite came off for us."
