U18S DRAW AT PETERBOROUGH

Northampton Town's youth team travelled to Peterborough on Saturday for their latest fixture in the Football League Youth Alliance.
The game, which was played in very windy conditions, ended in a 1-1 draw with Greg Taylor on target for the Cobblers.
"I was very pleased with the effort and commitment of the lads considering the very tricky conditions," said youth team coach Sean Parrish.
"The very strong wind made it difficult for both sides and that meant it wasn't the prettiest of games but the lads battled away well and in the end I was a bit disappointed we didn't see the game out.

"Greg gave us the lead in the first half but in the second half Shaun Goodall and one of their players were sent off and they managed to get an equaliser."
